Arctic Monkeys
On March 24, 2019, during its tour of America, the band managed to gather more than 65 thousand fans at the Foto Sol in Mexico City, becoming its presentation with the most attendees (not counting festivals) in its history as band. During their visit to the city and their presentation, they filmed a mini-documentary directed by Ben Chappell.
Humbug (2008-2010)
The band started writing and recording demos for the third album in January 2008, Turner commented: "On tour we always played six new songs, so we recorded them. Let's take it lightly, start practicing in the summer and make stuff. new ".
Guitarist Jamie Cook announced on July 2, 2008 that they were planning to start writing the third album later this month at Alex Turner's home in Sheffield. Cook said he was "excited" to get started, but said he didn't know which direction the music would take.
Having previously been supported by Queens of the Stone Age at a concert in Texas, the band are recording material for their next album with frontman Josh Homme serving as producer. The sessions were recorded at the Rancho de la Luna studio in Joshua Tree, California, where Homme was recording with his side project The Desert Sessions.
