Carmel a Cappella is made up of singers Inbar Hefter, Maya Goldshmidt, Keren Ylon, Moran Shalev and Limor Yanowitz, all of them from Haifa, Israel. This female quintet specializes in polyphonic music without instrumental accompaniment and has performed at international festivals, recitals and ceremonies.
To her tours of Germany, Spain and Switzerland must be added participations such as the one she made in a program organized to receive the millennium that was broadcast simultaneously on television to 60 countries around the world.
The repertoire of 'Carmel a cappella' is highly varied and includes vocal arrangements of classical instrumental works such as Vivaldi compositions, Israeli and Latin songs, musical comedies and jazz.
As a result of her work, she has won, among others, the First Prize of the International Competition for choirs and vocal ensembles Shirat Hayamim (The Song of the Seas).
