You can edit all day and add the whole collection! 😎 I love Hall & Oates! It was an amazing time in the history of American music. Disco was big, and the revolutionary 60s were behind us. Rock & Roll softened, giving rise to the groovy music that came from all ethnic groups. "Baby Come Back" begins with that bass that tells you something funky is coming. Then you hear those soft bongos reminiscent of Marvin Gaye, and you begin to wonder if this is really a band of white guys. 😂 But what really hits the heart is how universal the lyrics are to the human experience of love and heartache.
You could also have thought it was the Bee Gees, the Eagles or Chicago. 😉
Great song. For the longest time I thought Hall and Oates did this song.
Here is a good one by Hall and Oates. They would have done the song you shared perfectly.
Edit to add this great one too.

Indeed it was. I miss so much from that time, especially the music.
