Teenagers from my era back in the mid-90's will recognize this song from the band "Philippine Violators" which are an underground punk rock metal group but managed to make this song popular in the local mainstream music scene, well at least to a couple of radio FM band waves that only palys rock music at that time.

The song is in the Filipino language, it is a story of a band member who went to join a rock band group. The band went famous and so is "Pedro" but Pedro went wayward, became hard-headed and proud to himself, doesn't want to go to the band's practices or is always late, he had became a headache for the band.

So the band kicked him out ending his career for that band. Then the song goes "Wala na si Pedro" which means "Pedro is done for."

In my opinion the song got so famous for a couple of things like the lead guitar is awesome to listen to with its pleasing to the ears melody plus the song has a moral lesson for the person or people that would listen to it and it is like a short, short story but has an impact of educating people of being humble always even if you achieve a greater heights from the career you so choose for yourself or else you could fall down back in the beginning.
