Today is astonishingly "National Kite Flying Day" 🦅 on the Holiday Calendar listing. When I was young, I remember being inspired to participate in Kite flying after watching the famous Disney Movie "Mary Poppins". Although the movie was first released in the mid 160's I think we have all seen it at some point in our lives.
Perhaps we should all encourage our own kids and Grand-Children to listen to the song from the movie titled "Let's Go Fly A Kite". This outdoor activity is perhaps not as popular as it used to be. Maybe we should encourage them more to get fit and active by running with a kite high in the sky. I think they would have fun... 😀 I fondly remember having a kite in the shape of an Eagle, it was awesome!
