Today is "National K9 Veterans Day" 🐕 on the "National Holiday Calendar" listing for March. So this is our perfect opportunity to show respect for animals, specifically Dogs who serve in the Military. Although "K9" is a typically American nickname meaning a much shortened term for "Canine" (a clever play on words I think).
Other Countries also enlist Dogs with their handlers to protect people and property from all forms of Terrorist attack. So my respect goes to all Military Dogs, and those who were "killed in action". They should all rightly be remembered for their dedication and bravery!
