Blurtmusic for the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius, 21 December 2020

in blurtmusic •  4 years ago

Well, it's a great conjunction that happens every 20 years. This year it's close enough to see with a pair of decent binoculars, assuming you missed the 1226 event. What few seem to mention is that Pluto is also nearby and the three planets have made a syzygy for much of 2020.

Chaos and totalitarianism are on the menu. Freedom? Not much. Sanity? Unlikely.

Anyway, as the conjunction is in Aquarius, here's an excuse for this piece of sixties hippiedom. Why did Hair come out as a film in 1979? Only a decade too late.

There is also this original version by The 5th Dimension, with what looks like a young Pavarotti belting it out.

Let the sun shine...

gives way to...

See you on the dark side of the moon...
