History is full of information about the many evil things that people have done to their own race. Some of these things appear in movie scenes or the whole movie consists of scenes of evil.
I tend to watch more movies based on events that have happened, especially those that are about recent history. It's tempting to see what goes on behind the scenes as some dark places come to light, and I like to see the ambition, the determination that knows no limits to what a person can do when circumstances force them to do it.
When it comes to freedom and escaping death, it has been proven many times in different times and ways that nothing should be off limits.
If I say 1940s, most people will understand what I mean when they realize that I am talking about fleeing to protect freedom and the right to life.
Yes, I am talking about the many freedoms and rights to life that were violated before and after the Second World War.
The movie The Way Back, released in 2010, is about the hardships of a group of people who are deprived of their freedom and locked up in a Siberian prison camp for absurd reasons.
I say the reasons are absurd because they are based on the testimonies of those closest to them who were tortured. Who among us can resist under torture!
There is no need to say too much about what happened in the prison camps before, during and after the Second World War. Each one of them is disgusting and evil enough to try one's patience and anger!
In the movie The Way Back, we see the prisoners of the prison camp not only struggling with the challenges dictated to them, but also with the challenges created by nature.
The fact that the camp is in Siberia makes escape almost impossible. Leaving aside the sadness of what happened, the fight for life of a group of people is an excellent pleasure to watch.
It was nice to watch the movie not only in terms of historical facts but also in terms of the struggle of man against his own race and nature.
There is only one reason for the 6000 km trek through storms, snow and then through the desert without water. Freedom that was taken away from you and that you think you deserve!
When I watch these kinds of movies, I dictate in my mind, how much worse can a human being be? I dictate the question in my mind and each time I push the limit further and further because as human beings, there is no limit to what we can do!
