No matter how republican we are, we dream of a kingly life. I am also a republican, but I would like to be surrounded by servants, security services, assistants who will fulfill my wishes instantly, the power to have everything, and people who will address me as your majesty.
In short, I can say that I am a republican who wants to be ruled by a republic, but I want to live like a king. Who wouldn't want that?
In 2022, many of the teen movies I watched had a common theme: people whose private life was exposed by a video uploaded on the internet! Sometimes it was the words they said, a video of them naked or, in a more despicable act, a video of their private moments with the person they were having an affair with.
And every time it makes me ask the question of where we are going as a society. Just as cars cause traffic accidents, the internet has a devastating effect on the lives of young people. Just like cars, how you use it matters!
Made in 2022, Royalteen is a youth movie, but it differs from others in that it has more of a social message. I am undecided whether this is an advantage or a disadvantage in terms of audience enjoyment.
Although it is about the love story of two young people, Kalle and Lena, whose social status is very different, it is a very rich movie with its content. Kalle is the crown prince. Lena is a brave girl who goes to the same school and class. That's why I made the comparison between being a republican and a royalist.
The movie is not primarily about providing the audience with a good viewing experience, but rather about incorporating and presenting more than one social message. The story is all about giving a message and it progresses by positively processing the difference between right and wrong.
During the viewing, you can easily collect the social messages under one heading because the director and the actors have made it clear how the message is delivered.
People with different social statuses can live together without any problems

Everyone already knows them, but we don't hesitate when we want to violate any or all of them!
Even if you accept and accept the messages given, the story progression, which constantly renews itself in a short loop that insistently gives the same message again and again, makes the movie very boring... but you still have the desire to watch the movie until the end.
It is the kind of production where those who watch it will gain nothing and those who don't watch it will lose nothing. Nevertheless, if I have to say a few positive things about the movie; it is in the category of youth movies but it has features that distinguish itself from the others. It's a strange movie, when you start watching it, you can't put it down, but when you watch it to the end, you question why you watched it.
Ines Høysæter Asserson, who plays Lena and who draws the biggest zig zags throughout the movie, was the best in the movie. She showed exemplary behavior with a strong character reflection and knew how to apologize when necessary.
Although the biggest oddity belonged to him in the scene where he introduced his daughter as his sister. Big mistakes have small repercussions!
