Terms such as two-dimensional planets, three-dimensional planets, four-dimensional planets, planets where time works differently, multiverse theories have always been mysterious because they contain unknowns. Mysteries have enough interest to trigger a sense of curiosity.
Making interpretations on the dreams seen and looking for reality after the game played by the subconscious mind to the person is presented to the enthusiasts with the name of "dream interpretations". To be a guest in each other's dreams or to meet in a common dream, to place an idea in someone's mind by passing through layers in a dream (dreaming in a dream) and to capture the person in whom the idea is placed by ensuring the growth of the placed idea in real life seems far from science and what the mind can take for now.
Nevertheless, there are many enthusiasts and their number is increasing day by day.
Unlike dreams, astral travelling is an astral journey with the mind where the body remains fixed while the consciousness is open. During the journey, while the physical body remains fixed, the astral body can be used to move to other dimensions and see otherworldly creatures. I am not very knowledgeable on this subject, but doing research is as easy as activating my fingertips. There are many videos on Youtube and I don't know how much each of them reflects the truth.
I watched the 2018 film ASTRAL, triggered by my curiosity and the thought that maybe I would find more information. I saw the film by Chris Mull in two stages. To begin with, Alex (played by Frank Dillane) is a metaphysics student who is curious about astral travel. He researches and experiments with the astral dimension in his own way.
Until this point, the film seemed to have an informative feature about astral travel, but in the following scenes, the film suddenly turned into a simple horror and drama film with absurd scenes such as séances and exorcisms. While I liked the first part of the film, the second part was boring and unlike the first part, it was far from being instructive. Astral travel remains only a verbal action in the film because the scenes in the sequel have nothing to do with astral dimension or travel.
The activities during sleep are presented in the film as astral travel, and the extraterrestrial beings encountered in astral travel have no activity in the real world dimension. In the film, however, they do, and they try to possess Alex, just like the demons.
Anyone who is interested in astral travel or who has done a short research easily understands that what is in the film is not the astral dimension and what is done is not astral travel. When the consciousness should be open, it is both closed and reflected more like dreaming than astral travelling. If you want to compare the film with your knowledge about astral travel, it can be watched, but if you want to add new information to your knowledge about astral travel, the film will not add anything to you. On the contrary, it causes you to question what you know about the astral dimension.
For the first time after a long time, I am commenting on a film as a waste of time, but please know that this is a personal opinion. The most positive thing I can say about the film is the stunning beauty of Vanessa Grasse. I liked her role as Alex's girlfriend and her determination to explain her feelings for Alex.
As long as the astral dimension and multiverse theories remain unknown, they will continue to be the centre of interest for a certain segment of the audience. Any information about the astral dimension and astral travel in particular is welcome and any suggestions for films on the astral dimension will be gratefully accepted. Let me know in the comments, please!
I should add that all this has nothing to do with science and that the narratives remain fiction until proven.
