Unwelcome starts a wonderful moment for an urban couple Maya (John-Kamen) and Jamie (Booth), but a terrible incident ruins it. They learn Jamie has inherited a little Irish farmhouse a few months later. Before the birth of their first child, the couple seizes the chance to begin anew.

After settling in, a neighbor named Naeve (Cusack) warns them to leave a blood offering every night. Another horror for them is when they hire a tough family headed by Daddy Whelan (Meaney) to renovate their house. Maya discovers that the goblin legends might be true as things become more challenging.

The identical issues for a couple are shown in two entirely different settings in the horror mystery Unwelcome. This is related to the house invasion portion of the narrative. Other times, in the terror, the hidden creatures in the woods add a hint of lightheartedness to the mayhem.
