Innocent nilgai and our cruelty !!
The winter has faded and the surroundings have just turned green again. The first rain of the season was a few days ago. The tea garden is also full of green now. The new dream of the farmer in the new twenty. The farmer is busy tending the garden. One such afternoon, an animal was seen running in a tea garden in Mirzapur, Panchagarh. Strangely beautiful animals look like cows but neither cows nor deer. He is running in different directions in fear. The people of the surrounding fields are looking at the animal with fascinated eyes. Such a scene is not seen every day.
The father called his child to see such a beautiful animal. The friend called his friend and informed him that such an animal had come to his area. Everyone is watching the strange creature from behind the tea tree. The animal provided a little thrill in their dull time. The animal also realized that he was not afraid. Calm down, he headed for a pond. He is scared to come out of familiar boundaries. Dry throat wood !! Slowly after drinking water by the side of the pond, the animal went into hiding !! Everyone was looking with fascinated eyes !!
The story could be like that! Maybe. That's it. That should be it
But not in our country? In our country, people are not fascinated by the beauty of animals. We have to be beaten to death when we see animals. He has to be chased. You have to think about whether it can be eaten or not.
Blue Bull (Bocephalus tragocamelus) with this handsome male nilgai. The Nilgai has somehow crossed the Darkhor border of Atwari Upazila and reached our country from India. Where does the business go? Hundreds of people chased him. The nilgai also started running in different directions to save his life. The main way to protect the nilgai is to escape.
Can run extremely fast. I forgot my name. A hunter said in his book that it is impossible to catch a nilgai without riding a horse.
Nilgai is a cow or a cow, but not a cow. It is the largest antelope in the Indian subcontinent. Nilgai is always seen in India, Pakistan and Nepal.
Areas with bushes and hills are preferred by Nilgai. This herbivorous animal roams in groups. There are 4-10 members in the team. After the morning meal, he spends the rest of his time in the shade of a tree. One of the interesting things about the animal is that they defecate in the same place and make mounds. Do not leave the stool everywhere.
According to the people, people have been chasing the nilgai since ten in the morning. Chased from one area to another. From there, new people chased the group and took them to another area. Why brother ??? Who harmed the innocent animal like a cow? What if he was allowed to be like her?
Fearing for his life, the beggar ran to the village near the shrine of Bara Auliya, about 15 km from the Darkhor border, and fainted. When I got the news, I was talking to the Panchagarh Superintendent of Police at the other end of the Panchagarh. The animal just died. The nilgai died due to human cruelty. The people of our society introduced barbarism again. Proved once again that we are a civilized nation. Our minds are still full of violence.
The process is going on to save the nilgai and keep it in the museum.
