everyone, I am passing by here in a very brief way to tell you that I am applying for a health insurance policy. It is mandatory to do so because of the situation that I am presenting with blood pressure disease and kidney problem. It is a recommendation from the doctors so that I can be hospitalized and evaluated in the best way. As I mentioned before, I can have access to consultation by the hospital, only medical consultation but without medicines. They only provide medications to those who have a health policy from the EPS. I have already started the procedures today, even though my blood pressure is unstable. I also went to the offices to process it. It was a very busy day. The migrant has to go through everything to be attended as it should be. It has cost me a lot to obtain stability in this Colombian country. I live in a deep reflection and introspection of my life.
Hola a todos paso por aquí de una manera muy breve para contarles que estoy tramitando póliza de salud. Es obligatorio hacerlo por la situación que estoy presentando de enfermedad presión arterial y problema renal. Recomendación de los médicos para que pueda ser hospitalizado y evaluado de la mejor manera. Como le comentaba anteriormente puedo tener acceso a consulta por el hospital solo consulta médica pero sin medicamentos. Solo le proveen los medicamentos a los que gozan de póliza de salud la EPS. Ya comencé los trámites hoy fui a pesar de estar con la presión inestable. Asimismo me diriji hacia las oficinas para tramitarlo. Fue un día muy ajetreado. Por todo lo que se tiene que pasar el migrante para que pueda ser atendido como debe ser. Me ha costado bastante obtener la estabilidad en este país colombiano. Vivo en una profunda reflexión e introspección de mi vida.
On Friday I was applying for the policy and I was attended by a lady and I managed to deliver the papers that they request since I am a foreigner. I had help from a man who has helped me in the processing of some documents such as the Colombian identification card, the Rut which in Venezuela is the RIF. And I managed to open a bank account. All with the help of this gentleman who has helped me because he sees that I am in delicate health. No one lacks God and I have not lost my faith, I have full confidence that I am going to come out of this all right. Sometimes life gives us trials that we have to fight hard.
El viernes estuve solicitando la póliza y me atendió una señora y logre entregar los papeles que ellos solicitan ya que soy extranjero. Tuve ayuda de un señor que me ha ayudado en el trámite de algunos documentos como la cédula colombiana, el Rut que en Venezuela es el RIF. Y logre abrir una cuenta en el banco. Todo con ayuda de ese señor que me ha ayudado porque ve que estoy delicado de salud. A nadie le falta Dios y la fe no la he perdido confío plenamente que voy a salir bien de todo esto. A veces la vida nos pone pruebas que hay que batallar fuerte.
Practically today was lost because the lady did not enter me in the system due to the health situation I have been presenting, they assigned my case to someone else and I do not know what happened that they did not add me to the system and the EPS income and update department went on vacation for Easter week until next Monday so I lost time. I have to wait for next Monday. I am praying that I can be attended and from what the first lady I talked to told me that I had to be hospitalized so that the doctor can evaluate me and refer me to the specialist in this case a cardiologist and a nephrologist.
Prácticamente el día de hoy fue perdido ya que la señora no me metió en el sistema por la situación de salud que vengo presentándole asignaron mi caso a otra persona y no se que paso que no me agregaron al sistema y el departamento de ingresos y actualización de la EPS se fueron de vacaciones por la semana santa hasta el próximo lunes así que perdí tiempo. Tengo que esperar el próximo lunes. Rogando que pueda ser atendido y por lo que me dijo la primera señora con la cual converse que tenía que ser hospitalizado para que me evalúe el médico y me remita al especialista en este caso un cardiólogo y un nefrólogo.
I arrived at the house where I live quite tired. I rest for a while and then have lunch. I can't eat a lot of foods containing flour or sugars, since I have urine retention. And sometimes I am bloated. I take diuretics to be able to urinate and lower my blood pressure. I hope I can solve my illness to return to Venezuela. Because in these conditions I cannot travel, I have to stabilize my health, be more stable, with a good treatment and then organize the trip to be able to return. Sometimes I get anxious and I get desperate but I try to take a deep breath to be able to go on. What interests me for now is to normalize my blood pressure because right now I have it unstable, both my systolic and diastolic pressures are too high. I am really worried. I know that my illness is a product of my emotions. And I am even more worried because I am a doctor and I know all the consequences that I can have with this disease. I will say goodbye until a future post and I will continue to inform you about my progress and my state of health.
Llegué bastante cansado a la casa donde vivo. Repose un rato para luego almorzar no puedo comer muchos alimentos que contengan harinas, ni azucares, ya que estoy con retención de orina. Y a veces esto hinchado. Tomado diuréticos para poder orinar y bajar la presión arterial. Ojala pueda solventar lo de mi enfermedad para regresar a Venezuela. Porque en estas condiciones no puedo viajar tengo que estabilizar mi salud, estar más estable, con un buen tratamiento y luego organizar el viaje para poder regresar. A veces me entra la ansiedad y me desespero pero trato de respirar profundo para poder seguir adelante. Lo que me interesa por ahora normalizar la presión arterial porque ahorita la tengo inestable me sube demasiado alta las dos la tensión sistólica y la diastólica. De verdad que estoy muy preocupado. Se que mi enfermedad es producto de mis emociones. Y más me preocupe porque soy médico y se todas las consecuencias que puedo tener con esta enfermedad.
