Life and Spirituality: The Importance of "Being Seen!"

Greetings Everyone!

It is interesting how we can look at almost all walks of life, almost all belief systems, almost all endeavors, almost all causes... and at the heart of the matter lies the core idea that we want to be seen.

This isn't necessarily just the very public "Seen" of known figures or celebrities, but more significantly the private "Seen" of our authentic selves.

It is the being seen and recognized when we write something or creative something from the heart, and it is noticed.

It is the being seen and appreciated — rather than taken for granted — when we always do good and right in the world, and others' lives are better, as a result.

Being seen could even mean something as "everyday" as someone seeing our post on Blurt, recognizing it and commenting "yes, I really relate to what you shared!"

For example, we hope our little blog here on Blurt will be "seen" because we depend in part on the kindness of people's donations and upvotes to run our small charity.

Conversely, there can be pain and trauma in not being seen. When we put our very best foot forward to the world, and all that results is deafening silence... it can be a serious blow to our enthusiasm.

Hence the importance of noting when you see something of value. The positive impact of this "transaction" between the "Seen," and the "Seer" is almost immesurable!

Let us remember to keep our eyes open, and to tell people when we have seen them!
