Whilst out doing my Christmas shopping in Hull yesterday, I passed a Covid vaccination centre and they were doing walk-in appointments so knowing that I needed a booster (and not being able to get an appointment until 30th December), I decided to wander in and get it done.
As usual, the thought of the injection is far worse than the jab itself but it's quick and I can now enjoy Christmas with my family in the knowledge that I'm "safe".
It'll also allow me to go and watch Reading FC now that some events are now needing demonstration of a "Covid Passport" so I've got my ticket booked for the FA Cup 3rd Round visit to non-league Kidderminster Harriers on the 8th January and I'm looking forward to getting another Away Days Tale written soon after the trip 👍
