Have a nice day! There are many different attractions in the Sochi arboretum. One of them was the villa "Nadezhda"...
Around the villa itself is an excellent garden, numerous well-groomed alleys, paved paths, flower beds, all sorts of exotic trees and plants brought from all over the world. And what beautiful sculptures here, so graceful and graceful, stand surrounded by beautiful magnolias and tall pines.
Sergey Nikolaevich was a very extraordinary person. He himself graduated from the law faculty of Moscow University, and after serving in the army, began his literary activity. At the end of the XIX century, he wrote "The History of Dance", and several ballet librettos, including the libretto for the ballet "La Bayadere". Despite his love of ballet, he also found time to improve his dacha, as he was a passionate gardener.
You will see here not only tall old oaks, broad-leaved Mexican agave, and boxwood trees. Around the dacha grows Japanese viburnum, Caucasian fir, and dlinevidny maple, there is also Australian eucalyptus, and even ruelia, and Himalayan cedar.
The design of the main entrance is amazing, there are floor vases, original statues, bas-reliefs, and many amazing bronze sculptures. Everything is done with great love and tenderness. Even the cast-iron sculptures and many of the grilles you might have noticed on the villa's balcony were cast at the F. San Galli factory.
I have a Sony DX-60 camera, and all photos are taken in auto mode.
I appreciate Your feedback and comments.
I wish you luck and have a nice day!
Best wishes!
