One of the Shrovetide week' features and symbols is -- burning of a Shrovetide doll (Maslenitsa, in Russian). Personally, we have a tradition of doing this ritual every year on the same spot, in a company of our children and our friends and acquaintances children. The bigger the company, the bigger is the fun!
The actual doll was created by a good friend of our family, an artist @iol-art. I will post more close-up pics for you to see, how did the doll looked like, before we have burned it :P
