HEY FAM, HOPE YOU ARE HAVING A GREAT DAY...

I was thinking to make a video talking about the current price of products herein Kharkiv. Yesterday while buying groceries, I have noticed an insane level of price increase. Obviously, after the covid situation, the price was started increasing, everywhere. But now I would say the economy of Ukraine is not doing good and the crisis has started.

2020 was fine, products price was stable but from 2021 changes started happening and now suddenly the price has increased up to 2X. I used to spend min 20$ per week on groceries according to my food habit and taste and trust me it was a lot back days. But now, in 2022 I have to spend around 45-50$ per week minimum on the same food products. Of course, it's not possible to change my food habit suddenly. In winter normally the price of the food products increase but now due to pandemic and war situations, price is doubled.

I really wanna know the economical condition of your country. What is the price level there and how much it has increased so far...

Thanks a lot for watching...

With the global economic crisis that the pandemic situation has brought us, added to diplomatic tensions (which are already in the area of military tension), both the increase in the cost of living and the loss of purchasing power are somewhat understandable.

On this side of the world I cannot show anything that makes me proud in economic matters, because in Venezuela we have the record of having one of the longest hyperinflations in the economic history of the continent and one of the three longest in the world if I have not read wrong , in addition to the fact that the destruction of the value of our national currency is something atrocious, added to economic policies that have annihilated the value of GDP... if you put in addition to all that that the official salaries, what we call the minimum wage, is ridiculous. .. let me explain, the "basket of products and services" calculated as basic for the survival of a family of 5 members has been calculated here at about $450, but in my case (as a professor with a university degree, postgraduate training and national publications and international in my research areas) I see that my salary table indicates that I do not earn more than $11 ... everything else that is needed at home to support us we get from jobs not fo formal, occasional and (perhaps) via the Internet.

Precisely because I live in this reality, I want it to happen to no one else, I would like the pandemic to be under control, for the world's economies to be reactivated and for the situation of potential war in Ukraine to be resolved, because although I am in another continent, and high-ranking politicians have made it clear that we are involved in this matter, as they are willing to host Russian troops and weapons in Venezuela to counter the NATO threat... as you can imagine, I was very scared by the statements of political leaders on this side and I was terrified to think that they could get us into a war.
