Because of massive tooth pain, I barely sleep at night. So, I was awake almost all night plus Gigi always tries to wake me up at midnight because she feels hungry and starts doing naughty things. Anyway, yesterday was one of the hot days and suddenly at night it started raining. Well, I am aware of Ukrainian weather but that suddenly rain caught my eyes.
Street lights in front of my home always keep brightening my apartment courtyard and entry point. But suddenly I noticed something, due to rain, several crystal droplets created on my window and because of the warm street lights, those droplets were looking like crystals.
So instantly I took a picture and posted on Instagram Story. I had no plan to write about it but sudden morning light forced me to write a story.
When I was a kid, I used to watch rain and fall in love with rainwater or droplets. In fact still, now I love droplets and whenever I get the opportunity, I try to capture some moments of droplets. So, you can see it is my childhood attraction just like some people still love to watch the moon and lost in the memories. Some still believe fantasy stories or unreal stories of the moon just like my mom used to say an old lady leaves in the moon and watches us over there. Fascinating, unreal imaginary stories which always stay in books...
It's a sunny morning but still, you can feel the late-night rain. The cool breeze, sweet sun rays, and the wet smell of soil reminded me that the day does not end yet, still more things are waiting...
After adding a few orchid plants, I have bought a Fern for my home. Fern was always my favorite and as an indoor plant, I feel they are astounding.
I personally love their characteristics and they add freshness at home. I think all plants lover love fern as indoor plants.
The cost of the plant is almost 75 UAH which is approx 2.5$.
Obviously, I keep my plants away from Gigi because she is ready to destroy it nicely...
Fern plant doesn't need direct sunlight so my window sill is perfect to raise a fern plant. My window is north facing so direct sunlight is impossible.
Few things I have learned about Fern :
- They demand Humidity.
- They don't like direct sunlight.
- Their soil always needs to be moist.
- Overwatering can be harmful to Fern.
- Dead leaves need to be cut and if the entire plants turned into brown/yellow, time to replace it.
If you have any suggestions please let me know. I am collecting information for Fern and want to keep my plant healthy...
Till then stay safe and healthy everyone...
