This year is completely different than the other years I mean previous years. Only a few more days left to end this year which was not only intense but also was difficult for many of us. From isolation to maintaining social distance, we have done everything to keep ourselves safe. We stayed away from family friends just for safety and some of us stayed self-isolated as well. Not only the economy of the entire world was broken but also many people faced a financial crisis as well. Many became jobless, many done work without salary and many fought for Covid standing on the frontline. But still, we are bonded and we didn't lose hope and we all are waiting for the bright days.
believe me or not but my heart cried every single day staying away from home. I looked at the sky and thought all the time about home and I just want to go there at least for one time. It's not as easy as it seems. Anyway, despite all negativities, I decided to move forward and live life. It was hard but not impossible, many people like me fighting every single day just for survival. Some might be worse situations than me and I feel blessed with who I am and wherever I am. At least I have a roof on my head, I have food to eat and I have utilities as well.
I know many people are unable to celebrate this holiday season, some can't afford it, some decided to celebrate with family and friends or with close ones. Recently, I have noticed two types of people, one those who are still doing holiday shopping from expensive stores and those who just wait for the good deals or just buying some necessary things from superstores like me...
I have explored both expensive and cheap stores, cheap means traditional decors or some common decors at a reasonable price. Obviously, so many beautiful things will blow away your mind but when you will look at your wallet, you just control yourself and think to buy something else instead just for the celebration.
Reasonable price products are always pretty, you just need to recheck and go for the traditional common stuff instead of unique and innovative. On the other hand, it doesn't mean that all expensive products are good but yes some products are unique and the price is high. Obviously, due to this pandemic situation, price here in Kharkiv, increased a lot. During the holiday season, everything turns expensive though but this holiday season is more expensive. Yes, this is a business time of course...
My theme was to make a winter wonderland and Christmas village but not very traditional. I am not fully aware of the meaning of each product so I bought which I know the details and aware of the background story. I just wanted to give my home holiday vibes.
My wallet was tight so after exploring several shops I ended up buying some necessary cute products for my concept and finished the decoration today. I will share the look and decoration soon with you with all the details. You just have to wait for my upcoming #vlogmas videos.
It doesn't mean you have to buy expensive gifts for your family and have to decorate your home with expensive decors. This season is all about sharing happiness and spreading love to others. You can stay at home, put some lights, pray, and can have a nice dinner with your family. Maybe you can spend quality time with your loved one or maybe you can spend a joyous time with your kids. Perhaps there is a relation between money and the holiday season when it comes to buying gifts for kids, but maybe you can surprise them by preparing something with your own hands with love and affection...
After all it's December, the Holiday season...
