The weather of Ukraine is very strange and suddenly the temperature increased and the snow started melting. A few days ago we had a heavy snowfall with low temperature and today it's warmer than before. I had to struggle a lot to adjust to this type of fluctuated weather but I am getting used to such weather. Anyway, today once again I am going to write about my Dog. Many of you might have already seen her baby age, I have made several videos based on her journey and thinking to store her entire journey.
Gigi is now 6 months, a labrador retriever who dedicated her entire life to me. She is an adorable puppy but sometimes annoying too because of her naughtiness. Not only she loves to chew my socks, cables, and wooden cabinets but also she easily gets bored with her toys and demands a new one. So far, my home is full of her toys but still, she loves chewing socks, shoes, and cables. I haven't bought a crate for her because I am trying to make her habituated with the home, she learned home manner but still, she needs to learn a lot of things...
She is a playful dog and loves winter, she loves to play with snow so whenever I get time, I take her for a walk. I know it's my responsibility to take her outside daily but the last few days the weather was so harsh, so I decided to stay at home. She loves humans more than dogs and in this picture, you can see that. She is not very interactive towards dogs as she is very young though many think she is an adult. Those who are aware of labradors' growth, they know that how labradors grows up so fast but their maturity level still remains the same according to their age...
It's hard to take her entire focus on me because she becomes very active when she is outside and doesn't pay attention anymore. Her entire focus stays on exploring things, pulling me, and chasing the birds.
She doesn't listen to me at all when she is outside and doesn't respect her leash. No matter how much I try to control and try to take her entire attention on me, she doesn't even care. A few days ago I went to the vet for her checkup and vaccination. I also discussed the entire problem with the doctor and she said, this is normal and I have to continue the same process every single day. At home she doesn't have any distractions that's why she pays attention but outside is an open world for her, so she stays distracted...
She also said, if I fail, I can hire a trainer for her but still this is the best time to teach her everything. Winter is a pleasure for my dog but not for me, she enjoys the snow where I become a white walker...
She is a very active dog and hard to control her sometimes. I fell down several times because of her and she continues pulling me, no mercy lol... Even I feel when she is outside, she pretends like she doesn't know me and stays busy doing her own things. She is so stubborn too if I say something to her in a harsh way, she stops eating and stays so calm. Her silence sometimes scares me as she acts like she doesn't exist anymore...
She is doing good overall...
