Eid in the Netherlands - Dutch Bank Account opening hassle | Refugee of Ukraine

HEY FAM, HAPPY EID...

This is not a complaint video, I have wanted to share my personal opinion, situation, and what I am facing in the last 2 weeks. Every individual's case is different and my case is also exceptional. Refugee life or temporary protection life is not so easy. People might say different things but when an individual experiences the same situation as others, only they can understand others' problems.

I have got my social security number here in Holland. And of course, I need a bank account for further procedures and for life. When I checked online, it seemed so easy but later I understood what a hassle just to open a simple bank account here for myself. When I was in Ukraine, I was able to open an instant bank account there but here even though banks say that they will provide special services for refugees from Ukraine but it is not that simple. Day by day the changing rules are making things difficult for Ukrainians here. Later, I came to know that I am not alone, many people like me who came from Ukraine are facing the same issue.

In the video, I have described each step elaborately and that's how I spent my eid day. The reality is sometimes hard to accept especially when you miss your family, and friends and know that you are forced to stay in this situation. I don't think I have many options left now besides I am tired of moving here and there. I often hate document work because it's a never-ending process. This is just the beginning of my refugee life, the more I learn to accept it early, the better it is for me.

Again I am saying, this is my case and it's different from others. Many got their account without any further annoyance.
