Covered Bridge

We made another trek across the Cascades Mountain Range to visit family. Due to the recent wild fires two of the main roads from the east side of the mountains to the Willamette Valley were closed. This was a longer route so due to time constraints stops were at a premium. Here are a few shots of a covered bridge built in 1945 across the South Fork of the Santiam River.

Hey macro lovers! Seeing another world with a macro lens seems to be fun. I can clearly see what small animals look like, their eyes, their mouths, and other parts that we cannot see with visible eyes. If I could understand the language of the animals, I would love to communicate with them.

【from Tokyo】A drive to Tokyo Bay on a clear autumn day

The blue sky in autumn is especially beautiful. It is clearer than the summer sky. I'm lucky to drive on such a day. We go through the gate of the Metropolitan Expressway and drive on the highway toward the Tokyo Bay coast. The road is not so crowded. After running through the city, our car follows the Rainbow Bridge to Odaiba. The driver speeds up. The white bridge looks good in the blue sky.

Nostalgia Of Summer

Kapıkırı - A leap back in time

Just yesterday we visited a small village called Kapıkırı, at the foot of the Latmos Mountains, which is located in the Turkish province of Muğla. The village lies amidst the ruins of ancient Herakleia, an ancient Greek city in western Asia Minor.
