An exquisite lounge that offers a unique interior atmosphere to their customers - "Georgia and Brilliant Bar"

New Year's new day though I am feeling every day seems the same. While people are talking about their plans and resolutions, I am dealing with some health issues. Anyway, nothing serious so far. The Christmas day was amazing, we went to different locations of Kharkiv city to see the Christmas lights. The most attractive places were Freedom Square and Parks. It was an amazing moment to see and enjoy the Christmas lights. I had made a plan for dinner on new years eve, somehow it got canceled and I and my partner both ended up at Multiplex. It has been a long time since I have seen movies on Cineplex/Multiplex so I decided why not start the year by watching a nice movie. We ended up watching Spider-Man: No Way Home and it was a good movie. At least for me, I wanted to watch Matrix but as I haven't seen any Matrix movie before so I need to watch previous movies first.

By the way, this post is not about movies, I just wrote my life update and what I was doing on new years eve. But the good thing is we went out for lunch on 31st December. It was unplanned and basically, I was looking for a place to chill and relax...

I am not a party person/lover so I most of the time avoid clubs or lounges. There are some unique restaurants in Kharkiv that have lounge spaces as well. Among them, Georgia is one of the restaurants.

I have been to Georgia before, it was also the 31st night, 2019, when we were free from the pandemic and were not bound to wear a mask. Georgia is a very popular restaurant in Kharkiv that serves popular Georgian dishes to the customers. On the side of the restaurant is a dining space with different ambient and another part is the lounge area which is also known as Brilliant Bar.

I had a great experience with this restaurant so why not I go there again to spend my 31st afternoon. Besides, I have mentioned that I was looking for a place where I can sit down and spend a few hours thereby enjoying drinks, food, and shisha. My plan was to spend at least 4-5 hours there because I needed to clear my head.

I think after seeing the photos, you already understood why I have chosen such a restaurant for spending time knowing it was expensive.

The interior of Georgia and Brilliant Bar is exquisite, one can easily fall in love with the restaurant atmosphere at a first glance.

The restaurant and bar area is located on the first floor of the building. KFC and Yakitoria restaurant is located on the ground floor. The building is located at the city center, near Derzphom metro station.

When you will enter the lounge area, you will see a peek of the beautiful lounge. The entrance was decorated for Xmas and New year. Instead of following the traditional style, they came up with the idea of creating a frozen dreamscape. Enormous crystals, glass garlands, and pendants created an adorned atmosphere for the customers. I have never seen such decoration within a restaurant before.

I mean I have seen crystal pendent and garland decorations but not like this type. I have always seen them at weddings. The big mirror was almost hidden behind thousands of crystal bids.

Of course from the entrance, you will be able to see a glimpse of the bar area as well.

The most gorgeous part of this lounge is the ceiling which is covered by thousands of Chandeliers. They are not just ordinary Chandeliers, they are crystal chandeliers so you can already understand the vibes of the restaurant's atmosphere. Anyone feels different sitting under these chandeliers. Just imagine, you are sitting under these crystal Chandeliers, how would you feel.

The restaurant and the lounge didn't follow typical interior design like wall panels or false ceilings. This lounge is old, almost 7 years old in Kharkiv but still, it seems like they are new because of their unique style interior. I think none of the ceiling ideas can replace this beautiful ceiling with chandeliers.

This is not a typical Georgian restaurant, their interior is completely different. People might expect a traditional Georgian atmosphere but it was not there at all. I would say the architect or interior designer has done a great job in terms of creating a lounge-like this one. It's a very beautiful, unique lounge...
