I read today about Dan leaving Block.one and was shocked, perhaps I shouldn't be, who walks away from 4 Billion? Unless he knows it's gonna fail and all fingers will point to him.

I love your style of writing, if you haven't joined our Discord please do at https://discord.blurt.world, please contact me in DM when you do, I want to have your contact handy, I feel you would be a great help in contributing toward s Blurt press releases.

I assume that as with Bitshares and Steem, he walked away with a huge chunk of EOS as well. I'm going to assume that he has quite a lot of Bitcoin that he has traded into from his creations over the years as well. It appears as I have looked more into this that his plans for a new chain is taking advantage of the discontent over censorship we see taking place in all arenas of public discourse. Sadly, I'm guessing that those who view him as a great leader will fail to consider his repeated abandonment of the projects he claimed would solve just this issue.

Thank you. I don't do Discord, both for lack of time as well as mistrust of it coupled with other reasons. I choose (limit) my availability due to the nature of what I used to blog about. While I have no desire to return to investigative blogging in the arena I was, I prefer limiting my exposure just the same. The levels and nature of the corruption I was sharing is unnerving, to say the least. One that ultimately began eating at my soul as I tried to reconcile what I was seeing with the illusions handed to us in the leaders of societies narratives.

I feel you would be a great help in contributing toward s Blurt press releases.

I appreciate your high opinion. While I did self publish for awhile, I realized a few truths from it.

  • My writing mechanics leave much to be desired.

  • My writing still sold and grew a following because many who appreciated my work had a worse grasp of mechanics than I did. To be fair, I did have some reviews praising the work while begging me to hire a good editor.

  • In the world of press releases, the mechanics would play a more crucial role than the tolerable work I was churning out.

On the issue of press releases (I actually produced 2 for my writing), many of them aren't worth much more than providing SEO juice for ones website as backlinks from high serped websites. Most people will never read them, the two I did years ago never bringing me one visitor. They did, however, give me a huge boost in search engines.

If you have an email contact I would be more than willing to reach out to you behind the scenes.

Thank you for your kind words/high estimation of me. As I have researched Jacob and yourself, I find a lot of honorable actions, coupled with successful projects that many enjoy. I never used the Ginabot when it came out, but everyone I interacted with at that time raved about what a blessing it was.

I enjoyed reading your article.

By the way, would you mind sharing articles about Dan leaving Block One and his new project. I love to read these stories as well.

Thank you,
@Yehey

I discovered it on a site I won't link to here as I don't wish to promote them. But this link will take you direct to the source.

https://www.voice.com/post/@dan/resignation-as-cto-of-blockone-1610285996-1071500676

On the new chain Dan has been talking of, its been discussed for awhile. I'm having issues finding the threads I read from some time back, but here is an article where he was discussing it from a couple years ago. I believe I also read of it back then on Bitcointalk, where he and his father have a bad reputation, often referred to as the Larimer gang.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/sounds-like-bitcoin-new-token-concept-from-eos-dan-larimer-fails-to-win-fans

I can look more later, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are videos of him discussing his interest in the new project. I also won't be surprised that after he has it off the ground and has profited immensely from it (if he can continue inspiring others to flock to his visions) that he will once again hand the project over to others to see if he can pull this off yet again. I will admit, that while I'm not easily influenced by others opinions such as Bitcointalk, his actions/conduct in the community has created a bit of disdain for him as a leader. Many were pushing his EOS on Steemit and after assessing his character and abandonment despite saying so many things that promote love and harmony, I knew I wasn't following him anywhere.

Thank you for reading the article, and appreciate your comment.

Thank you. It was some time back (5 months ago), but I saw you on Hive pitching Blurt and I asked you a question about it . I wanted to let you know your words about Blurt stuck with me for months, nagging at me to look into it. One could say you planted the initial seed. You said this

For those who are not aware of it I decided to become involved with Blurt. Interesting how the founders and Witnesses are so different there. So helpful and positive.

I am also building a curation program there as well. Sure the value of the token is low, but if you look at who is dumping their blurt you will understand why the price is low.

Thank you for planting that seed.

I really loved this post so much, your perspective about leadership is the same as mine, I've always thought that a leader is a motivator, not a boss like some people try to show it to the world.

When you're a leader, you live for your people and work for your people not from them, you give the example to show the people what's the way they should go to be happy, to be successful or anything that you want to do to improve the life of the people that walks with you.

Since I arrived Blurt I've had a lot of beautiful feelings for the awesome atmosphere that you encounter in here with the community, the support that everyone here gives you, the way the people talk about your ideas, giving more advises and less criticism.

And like I said in this comment, I work a lot for platforms like this one because since 2018 blockchain technology has given me financial freedom, has made me survive in a country where we have the worst economy in the whole world, where the month salary is less than 3$ and people starve everyday without salvation; I live in Venezuela and blockchain technology has been a miracle for many of us who trust and became early adopters of this kind of platforms and now we have the mission of give the testimony to show people in the world that it actually has real use cases that many people couldn't believe.

Right now, my earning on Blurt can't make me have a profit that could actually help me living, but I don't care about it, I try to invest 3-4$ that I could take from my earnings to buy some Blurt and make Power Up to get in this early game that could give me good things in the future and I'm basing that investment in the people I found here, not only the potential of the platform itself.

I appreciate people like you that shows the grateful feeling that we all really need in this dark times that we're living where the hatespeech is growing up and people is going insane, I feel that the good people are more numerous than bad ones, so here I am, making my bet for that good people, including you.

I send you good vibes and blessings for your kind words and also for being honest and say the thing that people don't want to read, thank you for bet for the truth, the justice and the happiness.

My best regards from Caracas, Venezuela.

Thank you for such a heartfelt reply. Your gratitude is inspiring. I read your comment you linked to as well, and it was touching too.

Yes, you get it. Investing not just in yourself, you're investing in others in the community. I remember when I first joined Steem. Once I saw the economic beauty of the system (being rewarded the more you care about others) I Had to overcome my fear of exchanges a few times. I bought delegations as well as powering up, as I saw that it was an investment in my neighbors there and wanted a larger upvote than what I could stake would give.

I remember my mentor there tried to talk me into self voting 90% of my votes to earn profit on my rented delegation. When I explained I was investing in others and not immediate profit he felt it was foolish, because he was trained to think in a pure capitalist way that holds intangible objects as the true source of wealth.

If everyone understood that our neighbors success is the key to our own, its unimaginable how much beauty would manifest, abundance for all who embrace it.

This writing explains from another perspective the idea of sincere leadership, which grows with honesty, strength but at the same time sharing love for others.
In the blurt family we try to grow with the idea of taking care of each other through respect and generating good energy. Many do not know the stories of those we share here, many like me depend on what is produced here, for one reason and another the income that we can generate on these platforms has become the livelihood of many, so with great humility I am grateful. I think that if everyone puts their grain of sand we can do great things and make a difference, small users help grow, and we try to maintain the ecosystem. It is not just about money, in this world of the blockchain I have met wonderful people on the 3 platforms and I maintain a beautiful friendship with all of them, so I propose from where I am to do everything possible so that this ecosystem continues to grow, calmly and like a placid place to grow but also to help others.
I like the way you write, because I can feel the person behind them in your words, that is, it is a living word and that has a lot of meaning. With love angelica7, good vibes.

Thank you for your kind words and for sharing some of your journey with me.

Very good writing. Blurt is really different and I feel good here, I think the atmosphere here is very different from the other platforms and that's what gets us hooked. Here is something that is not in the other platforms and I think it is about: Non-toxicity.

Here is something that is not in the other platforms and I think it is about: Non-toxicity.

This here. I wasn't targeted a lot, but I was several times by the largest bully there. My crime was supporting others who he was trying to chase off. I think what made that dynamic worse was how many people stopped supporting those targeted unfairly as soon as they were targeted for it. It revealed the motivation for many were the crumbs of tokens being collected, not building a community.

Despite my age, I still at times find it hard to understand the motivations of those who despise anything healthy so much they seek to destroy it. I appreciate the approach/philosophy I see installed here, from the founders to those seeking to be part of this.

Thank you for sharing. :)

Welcome to blurt. Leadership will just follow if the intentions are purely to help out other people then next would be our own self.

If everyone would be thinking this way, this community would be next bitcoin :)
