Today is World Art Day. I actually found out about it from a random post I saw on Twitter, but it caught my eye and I checked that this date was declared at the 40th session of the #UNESCO General Conference in 2019, so it's pretty recent, maybe that's why I hadn't heard her, well, you learn something new every day if you pay attention.

I don't know if it's a coincidence or if it was something intentional, and it's one of the reasons for choosing this day as #WorldArtDay, but: Today, in 1452, Leonardo da Vinci was born. One of the greatest exponents of the European Renaissance. Painter, architect, inventor, gastronome, writer, nature scholar, musician, poet, urban planner and inseparable thinker of his time, without a doubt he is one of the most outstanding and remembered artists in many aspects. If he had been born in the 18th century, no doubt he would have to call him an Encyclopedic Man.
Reporting personal things now, well, I've had a beautiful quiet day, I haven't left the house for several days, so I haven't complicated anything, I have food reserves to be without going out, it rained recently and with that we were able to collect rainwater to use in the house (I think I have already mentioned that the piped drinking water service is quite deficient) and the electrical service has been quite good, most of the day we have had electricity. Anyway, I'm pretty good if I compare it with other compatriots. By the way, we are on day 763 since the #Quarantine was declared in #Venezuela due to the #Covid19 #Pandemic, but I don't see much attention being paid to the situation, despite the fact that there is no official lifting of the security measures. Anyway, I wish you well and that we can read each other again another time.

Hoy es el Día Mundial del Arte. En realidad me enteré por una publicación que vi al azar en Twitter, pero me llamó la atención y revisé que esta fecha fue declarada en la 40ª reunión de la Conferencia General de la #UNESCO en 2019, así que es bastante reciente, quizás por eso no la había escuchado, en fin, que cada día se aprende algo nuevo si se presta atención.

No sé si será coincidencia o si fue algo intencional y es una de las causas para elegir este día como el #DiaMundialDelArte, pero: Hoy, en 1452, nace Leonardo da Vinci. Uno de los mayores exponentes del Renacimiento Europeo. Pintor, Arquitecto, inventor, gastrónomo, escritor, estudioso de la naturaleza, músico, poeta, urbanista y pensador inseparable de su época, sin dudas que es uno de los artistas más destacados y recordados en muchos aspectos. Si hubiera nacido en el Siglo XVIII, sin dudas que tendría que llamarle un Hombre Enciclopédico.
Reportando ahora cosas personales, pues, he tenido un hermoso día tranquilo, no he salido de casa en varios días, así que no me he complicado con nada, tengo reservas de comida aún para estar sin salir, llovió hace poco y con eso pudimos recolectar agua de lluvia para usar en la casa (creo que ya he comentado que el servicio de agua potable por tubería es bastante deficiente) y el servicio eléctrico ha sido bastante bueno, la mayor parte del día hemos tenido electricidad. En fin, que estoy bastante bien si lo comparo con otros connacionales. Por cierto, estamos en el día 763 desde que se declaró la #Cuarentena en #Venezuela por la #Pandemia de #Covid19, pero no veo que se le haga mucho caso a la situación, a pesar de que no hay un levantamiento oficial de las medidas de seguridad. En fin, te deseo que tú estés bien y que nos podamos leer de nuevo en otra oportunidad.
