Holy Thursday in the Christian calendar, day 762 since the quarantine was announced in #Venezuela due to the #Covid19 #pandemic, with the global threat of the emergence of new waves and the tightening of restrictions in various parts of the world... here we are taking it easy, a good part of the population no longer pays attention to security measures, it really is something to rejoice that our rates of contagion and complications have not skyrocketed, as I have read that it has happened in Peru, in short, which can be considered one of those small miracles that tell us that despite the problems we have in the country, at least we are not so bad in all aspects when compared to some neighbors.
In reviewing, to write the record of my day, well, I have to point out that my tendency to stay at home and work on the computer, makes it very common for me to have quiet days and, despite recurrent power failures, relatively days of calm. Anyway, I decided to comment on what is in the religious calendar, but only in terms of two elements, today is a day both for reflection and to remember the betrayal, on the one hand, the last meeting of the Nazarene with his followers nearby and, on the other hand, it is delivered to its enemies by one of those same followers.
In reviewing, to write the record of my day, well, I have to point out that my tendency to stay at home and work on the computer, makes it very common for me to have quiet days and, despite recurrent power failures, relatively days of calm. Jueves Santo en el calendario Cristiano, día 762 desde que se anunció la cuarentena en #Venezuela por la #pandemia de #Covid19, con la amenaza mundial del surgimiento de nuevas olas y el recrudecimiento de las restricciones en varias partes del mundo... acá nos la estamos tomando con calma, buena parte de la población ya no hace caso de las medidas de seguridad y de verdad que es algo para alegrarse de que nuestras tasas de contagio y complicaciones no se ha disparado al techo, tal como he leído que ha pasado en Perú, en fin, que puede ser considerado uno de esos pequeños milagros que nos dicen que a pesar de los problemas que tenemos en el país, por lo menos no estamos tan mal en todos los aspectos al compararnos con algunos vecinos.
Al revisar, para escribir el registro de mi día, pues, tengo que señalar que mi tendencia a quedarme en casa y trabajar con la computadora, hace que sea muy frecuente que tenga días tranquilos y, a pesar de las fallas eléctricas recurrentes, días relativamente sosegados. En fin, que me decidí por comentar lo que hay en el calendario religioso, pero solamente en cuanto a dos elementos, hoy es un día tanto para la reflexión como para recordar la traición, por una parte, la última reunión del Nazareno con sus seguidores cercanos y, por otra parte, la entrega a sus enemigos por parte de uno de esos mismos seguidores.

I must admit that I have a particular and strong dislike for traitors, I prefer a sincere enemy than a traitorous ally, really, even if a traitor goes over to my side biting the back of someone who helped him in the past, well, never I could trust such a new ally, for a traitor is very likely to betray me as well. After all, once a traitor, forever unusable.
When as a child, due to family religious training, they made me study this date, this betrayal of Judas always caught my attention, I really wondered what was going through his head, growing up I knew that it was something that many people had questioned. For some it was simple stupidity and greed, for others it was an attempt by a fanatical follower to force Christ to act and show his power to claim his position as King and Messiah... I truly believe that we can never know the correct answer, but personally, no matter what the motivation was, what I can remember is that I betrayed the one I called master and that is something unforgivable.
Anyway, since the end of the day, I guess I'll leave the record for today, I wish you well and that we can read each other another time.

Yo debo admitir que tengo una particular y fuerte adversión por los traidores, prefiero un enemigo sincero que un aliado traidor, de verdad que incluso si un traidor se pasa a mi bando mordiendo por la espalda a quien lo ayudó en un pasado, pues, nunca podría confiar en semejante nuevo aliado, pues un traidor es muy probable que me traicione a mí también. Después de todo, una vez traidor, por siempre inutilizable.
Cuando de niño, por la formación religiosa familiar, me hacían estudiar esta fecha, siempre me llamó la atención esta traición de Judas, de verdad que me preguntaba que le pasaba por la cabeza, al crecer supe que era algo que mucha gente había cuestionado. Para algunos fue simple estupidez y codicia, para otros fue un intento de un seguidor fanático de obligar a Cristo a que actuara y mostrara su poder para reclamar su puesto como Rey y Mesías... En verdad que creo que nunca podremos saber la respuesta correcta, pero en lo personal, sin importar cuál fuera la motivación, lo que puedo recordar es que traiciono a quien llamaba maestro y eso es algo imperdonable.
En fin, que ya terminando el día, supongo que dejaré el registro por hoy, te deseo que estés bien y que nos podamos leer en otra oportunidad.
