We are on Monday of Holy Week or Easter, depending on the religious tradition that is followed, I have had a quiet day, with some electrical failures, but most of the day I have had electricity, that in #Venezuela is already something to rejoice. I am ending day 759 since the #Quarantine was announced for the #Covid19 #Pandemic, although at present it seems that most people do not pay attention to the disease. I must admit that I am a little concerned about the appearance of new strains and the waves of epidemics that are leading in some parts to a tightening of security measures or to the resumption of measures that had been recently lifted. This seems far from over.

Estamos en lunes de la Semana Santa o Pascua, según sea la tradición religiosa que se sigua, he tenido un día tranquilo, con algunas fallas eléctricas, pero la mayor parte del día he tenido electricidad, eso en #Venezuela ya es algo para alegrarse. Estoy terminando el día 759 desde que se anunció la #Cuarentena por la #Pandemia de #Covid19, aunque en la actualidad pareciera que la mayoría de la gente no le hace caso a la enfermedad. Debo admitir que me preocupa un poco la aparición de nuevas cepas y las olas de epidemia que están llevando en algunas partes a un recrudecimiento de las medidas de seguridad o a tener que retomar medidas que se habían levantado hace poco. Esto parece estar lejos de terminar.

Personally, I'm clumsy at sports and I don't excel at it, but I admire the control, strength, flexibility, and precision that it takes to be successful in these practices. I guess I'm one of those who admire what I don't feel capable of doing.

Hoy es el Día Internacional del #Taekwondo, #deporte de combate coreano que en 1955 fue dado a conocer por el General Choi Hong Hi, junto a otras personalidades, como arte marcial nacional de #Corea. Este deporte logró su reconocimiento olímpico en 1998 en los Juegos Olímpicos en Seúl.
En lo personal soy torpe para los deportes y no me destaco en ello, pero admiro el control, la fuerza, la flexibilidad y la precisión que se requiere para lograr el éxito en estas prácticas. Supongo que soy de los que admiran lo que no me siento capaz de hacer.

Personally, I was struck by the situation of struggle and demands for decent wages by the labor leaders in Venezuela who are not dedicated to defending the government, there are trade unionists who have refused to defend the workers against the actions detrimental to the current government, in order not to contradict their loyalty to Socialism of the 21st Century, in the end, they betray the ideals that they are supposed to follow and sell out their own comrades.

Si, la misma Corte Penal que está en estos días mandando una comisión de investigación a #Ucrania para poner en claro que es lo que ha sucedido con los muertos civiles, pues cada bando acusa a su enemigo de ser el responsable y de verdad que se necesita de una investigación externa para clarificar las cosas. En lo personal puedo tener mis sospechas en contra de la parte o fuerza que realizó la invasión militar, pero sé que como científico, la evidencia es lo que debe guiar el juicio, no la emoción o los prejuicios.
Bien, como puedes ver, de verdad que había varias cosas interesantes en esta fecha, no pude elegir una sola, así que escogí varias. Sin nada más que agregar, te deseo que tú estés bien y que nos podamos leer de nuevo en otra oportunidad.
