Yesterday there was a sharp drop in electricity service in various parts of #Venezuela, that left me without electricity and without much Internet signal. Today the service is back and I can work a little. Well, I am on day 753 since the #quarantine was announced due to the #Covid19 #pandemic in this country, it seems that we have already gotten used to this situation and many people are relaxing the security measures.
I work from home and currently have a relaxed time, I must be happy about all that. Despite the problems that I can complain about, I am much better off than a lot of people. Well, I checked what anniversaries I had for the day and I found that in Venezuela we are commemorating the death of the writer, politician and former President of the Republic Rómulo Gallegos. His work in novels has had international recognition, even when he was alive, his political work is well known, despite the fact that from my point of view it was not as successful as needed, at the time, the country was coming out of the shadow of authoritarian militaristic governments, a strong man with the cunning of a fox, the malice of a viper, and the diplomatic skill of an eagle's flight was needed, but this man did not manage to finish his government term without being given a military coup and deposed, it is incredible to know that he had been warned that a coup was underway, that he had to negotiate and avoid the worst scenario... in short, he was an idealist, not a pragmatist, it seems.
I will not make this record for today very long, I still have to finish other things that I am doing and that I had left pending from yesterday. I wish you well and that we can read each other another time.

Ayer hubo una fuerte caída del servicio eléctrico en varias parte de #Venezuela, eso me dejó sin luz y sin mucha señal de Internet. Ya hoy regresó el servicio y puedo trabajar un poco. Bueno, estoy en el día 753 desde que se anunció la #cuarentena por la #pandemia de #Covid19 en este país, parece que ya nos hemos acostumbrado a esta situación y mucha gente va relajando las medidas de seguridad.
Trabajo desde casa y actualmente tengo un tiempo relajado, debo alegrarme por todo eso. A pesar de los problemas de los que me pueda quejar, estoy mucho mejor que bastante gente. Bien, Revisé que efemérides tenía para el día y me encontré que en Venezuela estamos conmemorando el fallecimiento del escritor, político y ex-Presidente de la República Rómulo Gallegos. Su obra en novelas ha tenido reconocimiento internacional, incluso cuando él estaba vivo, su trabajo político es bien conocido, a pesar de que desde mi punto de vista no fue tan exitoso como se necesitaba, en su momento, estaba el país saliendo de la sombra de gobiernos militaristas autoritarios, se necesitaba un hombre fuerte con la astucia de un zorro, la malicia de una víbora y la habilidad diplomática que fuera como el vuelo de un águila, pero este hombre no logró terminar su mandato de gobierno sin que le dieran un golpe militar y lo depusieran, es increíble saber que le habían advertido de que había un golpe en marcha, de que tenía que negociar y evitar el peor escenario... en fin, era un idealista, no un pragmático, según parece.
Este registro de hoy no lo haré muy largo, tengo aún que terminar otras cosas que estoy haciendo y que me habían quedado pendientes de ayer. Te deseo que estés bien y que nos podamos leer en otra oportunidad.
