Día Capicúa en el conteo, es miércoles, seguimos en la #cuarentena por #pandemia de #Covid19 en #Venezuela, pero de verdad que cuando se ve la calle y la gente en ella, pues, no pareciera que se esté respetando mucho las recomendaciones de seguridad biológica, en fin, que la gente se acostumbra, es como vivir al lado de un volcán activo, luego de un par de años de que no se vea erupción de lava, la gente olvida que está viviendo en un sitio de alto riesgo.
Revisé la #historia y me encontré con que había un par de cosas para esta fecha, por una parte, es #aniversario de que el Imperio Español reconociera finalmente la independencia de Venezuela (1845), también hay otras muchas efemérides, pero me fijé en una que también es de geografía y me llamó la atención: Hoy (1867) concluyen las negociaciones para la compra de #Alaska, pasando su dominio de #Rusia a los Estados Unidos, la operación se cerró por un precio de 7.2 millones de dólares.
Lo encontré bien interesante porque me dio a pensar que en verdad que en el continente americano, todos los grandes imperios europeos tuvieron en algún momento una porción de tierra bajo su gobierno, en lo personal me sorprendí un poco cuando estudiaba y aprendí sobre la cuestión de que existiera un territorio Ruso en América, en fin, que me da curiosidad sobre cómo sería la historia si esta venta no se hubiera dado, me pregunto si en ese caso Alaska sería un país al estilo de Canadá o si tendría alguna otra forma de funcionamiento político-administrativo.
Comentando cosas personales, tengo un clima agradable, viviendo en un país tropical, eso es algo que uno no nota mucho, pero se agradece, ni es tan frío que me congele ni tan caliente que me derrumbe, en fin, la temperatura y la sensación térmica es bastante fresca. Suelo quejarme un poco de las fallas de servicios básicos que hace un par de lustros eran de mejor funcionamiento, pero cada día me convence más de que no sirve de mucho, bueno, sirve para dejarlo salir y no guardar la molestia, así que puedo considerarlo una suerte de catarsis.
Seguimos con inestabilidad en el servicio eléctrico, deficiencia en recolección de la basura, falla del suministro de agua, pero ahora, tenemos falla en la disponibilidad de gas doméstico para cocinar... en fin, que hay para toda clase de cosas, tengo colegas que en plena ciudad tienen que cocinar como si estuvieran de campamento, es decir, con leña o (los que tienen mejor suerte) con carbones, de verdad que hacer eso en un apartamento no es cómodo y el manejo del humo no es cosa sencilla para quienes no están acostumbrados a tener que cocinar de esta manera.
Pero, como dije, no sirve de mucho quejarse, así que voy cerrando el registro de hoy. Te deseo que estés bien y que nos podamos leer en otra oportunidad.
