New day in the count since the quarantine day count began in March, at least in this country. One more day in the count, one less day in the countdown to the end of the year. This year has been so intense that I may be happy that it is over, the bad thing is that I do not have the expectation that next year will be calmer, it may be even more hectic, because even if an effective vaccine and a adequate treatment to treat the pandemic, the economic, social and psychological consequences of quarantine and isolation will take longer to be overcome. Yesterday some colleagues from the blockchain noticed that I was developing the Rosetta Project in my short stories, that project in which I was taking short stories that I had already published before in English and now I was translating them into two other languages, with which I had them available in the three languages with the largest number of speakers in the world. It is largely not a VERY profitable project in terms of its rewards, but it is entertaining and takes my mind off everyday problems. Today I have planned to publish a few more translations, but in a row, it happens that I started my day a bit late and now I don't think I will wait between one publication and another as I usually do. |
Nuevo día en el conteo desde que se inició el conteo de días de la cuarentena en marzo, al menos en este país. Un día mas en la cuenta, un día menos en el conteo regresivo para fin de año. Este año ha sido tan intenso que puede que me alegre que se termine,lo malo es que no tengo la expectativa de que el año que viene sea mas calmado, puede que sea incluso mas agitado, pues incluso si se encuentra una vacuna efectiva y un tratamiento adecuado para tratar la pandemia, las consecuencias económicas, sociales y psicológicas de la cuarentena y del aislamiento van a tomar mas tiempo para poder ser superadas. Ayer algunos compañeros de la blockchain notaron que estaba desarrollando el Proyecto Rosetta en mis cuentos cortos, ese proyecto en que estaba tomando cuentos cortos que ya había publicado antes en ingles y ahora los estaba traduciendo en otros dos idiomas, con lo que los tenía disponibles en los tres idiomas con mayor cantidad de hablantes en el mundo. En buena medida no es un proyecto que sea MUY rentable en cuanto a sus recompensas, pero es entretenido y me distrae la mente de los problemas cotidianos. Hoy tengo planeado publicar unas traducciones mas, pero en seguidilla, sucede que comencé mi día un poco tarde y ahora no creo que vaya a esperar entre una publicación y otra como suelo hacerlo. |
