Today is Thursday, the last Thursday of the month of April, my brother has just told me that it is drizzling, and he encourages me to carry out all the work that I can, and also to publish my record of the day early, because with this weather we always have the risk of the electrical service going down, which, as often happens in today's Venezuela, is quite precarious, and it is all too common for it to fail.
Two fluctuations have just occurred... well, this is starting to stress me out, I'm going to try to run and post before they take me offline. Let's put aside the things of my #Life, which has been relatively calm, and let's go straight to the ephemeris of the #History of the day for today. This is the International Day of Design, also called International Day of Graphic Design. This date in the past tense was also called "World Graphics Day", "World Communication Design Day" and "World Design Day".

Hoy es jueves, el último jueves del mes de abril, mi hermano me acaba de comentar que está lloviznando y me encomia a que saque adelante todo el trabajo que pueda, y que también publique temprano mi registro del día, porque con este clima siempre tenemos el riesgo de que se caiga el servicio eléctrico, que, como suele suceder en la #Venezuela actual, es bastante precario y es demasiado común que falle.
Acaban de ocurrir dos fluctuaciones… en fin que esto me está empezando a estresar, voy a tratar de correr y publicar antes de que me saquen de línea. Dejemos de lado las cosas de mi #Vida, que ha estado en relativa calma, y pasemos directo a la efemérides de la #Historia del día para hoy. Se trata de que se celebra el Día Internacional del Diseño, también llamado Día Internacional del Diseño Gráfico. Esta fecha en tiempo pasado también se denominó "Día Mundial de los Gráficos", "Día Mundial del Diseño de la Comunicación" y "Día Mundial del Diseño".

The date began to be celebrated in 1991, by the proposal of Kim Paulsen, but the celebration did not reach its internationalization until 1995, but it is understandable that it achieved it on that date, since at the time Paulsen was already Vice-President of the International Design Council (International Council of Design, IcoD), an organization that acts as an advisor to various international organizations, including #UNESCO.
On this day it is proposed both to draw attention to the importance of #Design in our current world, in all its aspects (industrial development, creation of virtual content, aesthetics of products and services, human usability studies, etc.) as well as increase the appreciation and visibility of professionals in the areas associated with #GraphicDesign and visual communication.

La fecha comenzó a celebrarse en 1991, por la propuesta de Kim Paulsen, pero la celebración no alcanzó su internacionalización hasta 1995, pero es comprensible que lo lograra en esa fecha, pues para el momento Paulsen era ya Vice-Presidente del Consejo Internacional de Diseño (International Council of Design, IcoD), organización que funge como asesor de diversas organizaciones internacionales, entre las que se cuenta la #UNESCO.
En este día se propone tanto llamar la atención sobre la importancia del Diseño en nuestro mundo actual, en todos sus aspectos (desarrollo industrial, creación de contenidos virtuales, estética de productos y servicios, estudios de usabilidad humana, etc.) así como también aumentar la valoración y visibilización de los profesionales de las áreas asociadas al Diseño Gráfico y la comunicación visual.
Bien, creo que mejor publico de una vez, esta publicación quedó breve, pero es que de verdad me estresa el ver como los bombillos parpadean y amenazan con que me quede sin electricidad en breve. Te deseo que tú estés bien y que nos podamos leer de nuevo en otra oportunidad.
