We all get to that stage where we revert back to been feeble and helpless, it's an inevitable stage of our lives if you are lucky to attain that stage. Old age is a bliss they say, because there is so much wisdom in Grey hairs. But then it comes with a lot of complications; health complications, been senile, reversing back to baby and so on. All these are reasons why most adults who still have parents do not want them to stay with them, and or want them to stay around and taken good care off by their loved ones. Some don't want their old and feeble parents to stay with them for other reasons best known to them.
Some of the other reasons may include financial burdens and smaller space in apartments, which is another very important factor. Now some might argue that people can manage their living space with the parents that struggled to cater and raise them, but it depends on the family size and income of the parents involved.
Basically, anyone who could afford a special home for aged people, places where senior citizens reside and then special care for them is rendered is somewhat comfortable and or have a their own personal apartment and not rentals where their aged parents could stay to share some love with their grandchildren within their remaining days living and breathing. But with my aforementioned factors above, most people especially working couples can't care for their kids and then for their old parents.
With these few mixed factors, if you have the space and resources, would you rather have your old parents stay with you and your family or you would send them to special homes for the aged?
