Really sorry about this! It wasn't in the plan! I have a profile set up over at the shorehosue. They are beautiful, but, I may have to replace the double oven soon. It's a twofer. :(
All I know is I am done with GE. All Whirlpool/Kitchenaid for me now.
Your scaring me man... my washer is on the fritz and I'm hoping it will turn the corner and survive for a few years longer.
I limped my fridge along for a few years. The ice maker quit, then the freezer went as well. Was able to use it as a large fridge till she gave up the ghost. Good luck. I can say they dont build them like they used to!
Sometimes it is an easy repair but to get someone to come out and look at something can be hit and miss. Plus, the recycle / disposal issue is difficult as you pointed out. If I can do it myself I usually try to go that route but as I've gotten older I'm much more inclined to want to have some help doing things.
