Blogging with no power supply; A real struggle

in blurtlife •  4 years ago  (edited)

Living in a developing country is not easy. It is funny how little things that should be made available to the public is held and controlled by the elites. These things are what you pay for but still you can not get the right value of your money and sadly the masses can not do anything other than get alternative means of staying afloat. Is funny how my country does not have adequate power supply for its citizen but at the same time provide power to its neighbour(Ghana).

The picture above is a rare picture of me powering my phone to blog on blurt using a power bank which i had to charge using a generator as alternate source of power supply. As we all know getting a generator means getting fuel or diesel to run it and these fuels are expensive. So living in a country like mine means to survive you simply have to own a source of power supply to keep your business or house running. In essence you pay for power from the authority and till need to get an inverter/solar panel or fuel generator to stay connected with the outside world.
