After hanging around for close to two years I have learned a few things.
The Blockchain will be attacked.
It was attacked and then attacked again. Public institutions and social media networks are attacked like this and they lose money and personal information. This didn't happen on the Blurt blockchain.Witnesses and coders are here but they are not short order chefs. They get the problems solved but it takes a little time. They have their own lives and jobs and family. Blurt is something they believe in so they give their time to see it happen. I choose to put my confidence in a few witnesses so I can go abut happily posting what I like and curating posts. They always manage to cook up something with a new fork.
I don't lose any sleep over Blurt or any Blockchain or investment or social media site. My health and my brain are probably the most valuable assets I have. Covid seemed to have slowed down my brain and my health even months later. Now people are getting sick all over again. When I come to Blurt I want to laugh and smile. There are plenty of crypto blogs out there will news information and shilling posts. They are also filled with complaining and hurt. I can get that on the local news.
Where is Blurt comedy?
-Perhaps if I read a little more comedy in posts I would stay more alert on Blurt. Our Blurtopian humor goes beyond national borders, religions and race. We have a very inside view at the world's biggest joke, ourselves!!
-You are reading a post written by a guy called Mineopoly with a big eyed orange box for an avatar?
-This guy Mineopoly is a joke. The longest code he has on Github is literally S.O.S.
-He has a dream of using blockchain in education, commerce and gaming but the only game he has ever designed was pong.
Let's move on from the poor attempt at a burn and get into the main reason I'm writing. I want to introduce three pieces of music. Let me know how you feel about each piece. Which piece is the most relaxing.
There is something maternal about language. When we are born we all cry out the same "Mmm" sound when we are hungry. Soon we are comforted with milk and associate the "Mmm" sound with mother. Bernstein proposes that all languages come from a single source. This is the theory of "monogenesis". In more than three 300 different languages the "Mmm" sound is in the word used for mother. There is a warmth when we feel the sound "Mmmm". Language also speaks through music.
What really helps to get me in the mood to sleep or rest or work is good music. Some music will help us bring back old memories or make connections. Some music is proven to release dopamine or other hormones in the brain that help us feel good and relaxed. As we listen to music and groove we find ourselves not losing any sleep, but in fact enjoying a beautiful day.
Here, listen and enjoy three short pieces that will as they say, "put you in the mood."
Didgeridoo
Do I need say more?
Debussy's Prélude à l'aprés-midi d'un Faune
This is played by the London Symphony Orchestra and with some pretty entertaining close ups, almost eerie. Anyway if you love flute you will love this.
It makes me feel light and happy.
I wonder how does it make you feel?
Carrizo Plain
Again the song speaks for itself.
When two become one they are intertwined.
This song is primordial and shares a basic instinct in all souls.
Apparently I have covid :( I have a very high fever since Monday, pain all over my body, horrible as if I had been run over and my head seems to explode from the pain... and today I woke up with a lot of cough with phlegm... I don't remember How long does the omicron last, the fever should subside tomorrow... otherwise I'll have to take an antibiotic...
It happened quickly to my daughter, she started on Saturday with fever and pain in her body and on Monday everything was gone, thank God.
I think nowadays it is a slightly different variant from Omicron but I don't know. I just have a feeling that this is a good time to get some rest. I really think that virus affected my concentration ability. My head hurt so much for about two days.
Yes,
Thank God so many have recovered.
Great observation and advice. I am glad I was able to sleep through all of that, I even took some days off blurt even after it came back but mainly because I didn't have internet bundle and I went to the city for a night. But it was also relaxing not thinking that I need to get some curation done before the day is over.
Hahahahaha
This is the burden of having some stake. We want a proper return so we are invested in the community. We just hoe something is half way entertaining to upvote. Also the VP runs down quickly so it is more effective to vote several times a day. The result is looking at the phone every few hours and voting a post. It's kind of silly. I can go days without Instagram or Youtube but as soon as Blurt was up I found myself grabbing my phone. Maybe it is a good thing that I still care about a few things happening here, but I'm not losing any sleep over it.
Re🤬eD
I thought Hunter was flogged.
You are a freak @frankbacon and I love it.
Hold your tongue and say:
When will they ever find the bottom of this?
I found the second piece the most relaxing.
I definitely could not find relaxation in the other two... 🤬🥓
I thought your SOS code on GitHub was actually pretty useful.
I only know two modes ...
Comedic or Tragic.
And THEN there's a Blockchain record.
🗝️⛏️
Each person is different. For some the Didgeridoo is out of this world. For others it is just annoying. That goes for the last song as well.
Thanks for your answer and thanks for sharing the video. The music is basically the same three notes again and again, but then so is an SOS distress signal and now that I think of it so are most songs... this one just brings it on a lot more relaxing.
Comedy and tragedy and sickly tied together.
I slept pretty well last night even though a mosquito got in. I wish you the best rest.
