The flesh is lighter to the outer color of the mushroom, usually slightly yellowish and quite elastic. The fungus has an unpleasant, nauseous smell, of rotting vegetation, mild in taste.
Occurrence: The fungus is becoming rarer. It grows from summer to fall, but can also be found in early winter. Its location is dead conifers, while deciduous trees are rare. Value: Inedible mushroom.
