Orange-yellow oyster mushroom. The hat can be up to 8 cm in diameter, has a bright orange color, very visible in winter weather. Semicircular in appearance, in the shape of a fan, outstretched with age. Adherent to the ground sideways. The edge is wavy, slightly curled. To the touch, the mushroom is soft, velvety.

The flesh is lighter to the outer color of the mushroom, usually slightly yellowish and quite elastic. The fungus has an unpleasant, nauseous smell, of rotting vegetation, mild in taste.
