It is also one of the first edible mushrooms. There is quite a lot of it in the first days of summer. The mushroom is perfect for pickling in vinegar and frying.

Clean the mushrooms thoroughly, rinse if necessary, which is not recommended. Put the mushrooms in a hat on hot oil or clarified butter, add a little garlic, salt and pepper and fry for a few minutes. We can eat it without any additives as an appetizer.

Gloomy boletus - kind of edible

gp02

A gloomy boletus, as if edible, but ...

I also meet this mushroom in June and it did not disappoint me this year. However, its suitability for consumption is not precise. Some sources say that it is edible, others that it is poisonous, and others that it is conditionally edible after boiling and cannot be mixed with alcohol.

I don't bring it to my kitchen just in case, because there are plenty of edible species that are not controversial.

This fungus from the cup-shaped family can also be found in the forest, but it is small there, so that its true nature and beauty can be seen only in high magnification. Most often it can be found on old spruce or pine cones.
