As soon as the winter-weary earth receives a dose of warm sunlight, life appears in it. For some it's a joy, for others it's a pain.
Not everyone is delighted with the mounds that look like small volcanoes, created by blind creatures, i.e. moles.
But there is a group of enthusiasts of this phenomenon, because wet warm earth is a habitat of all kinds of worms and other creatures that are a source of protein, vitamins and generally understood energy.
This group is represented by starlings, and more specifically female starlings. These are the days when they have their feast. Interestingly, males do not participate in this game.
