I celebrate the fact that you folks are talking HERE and using it like DMs on other platforms. I like the fact that I can go back and sprinkle UPVOTE in various convos and spots, just like people dropping emojis on Discord.
I was always told the UPVOTE is tied to the INFLATION of MY STAKE in the chain... so If I didn't invest in my own account, then my votes would be worth Nada. So I invested in my OWN STAKE to use it the way I just described.
With that said, I can't imagine using STAKE and INFLATION to attack a Poster, and MOVE those Inflated UPVOTED Gains elsewhere... If THAT is Truly the case, that the REWARDS are being Moved by DOWNVOTES rather than NULLIFIED By Downvotes, Then this IS the sort of HIGH CRIME I won't stand for.

yup - downvoted rewards are returned to the reward pool, to re distributed.
.....So if the larger accounts have 80% of the reward pool, 80% of the down voted rewards gets re-allocated to 'them'...?

I didn't know how bad it became. Didn't follow up much but don't we know the same BS from Steemit already? They took all of my enthusiasm and hopes for decentralized anything. It always comes down to the 'Cash'. Im just waiting to cash out at the right moment as well :)
