Rest the brain after reading or learning something. If you take a break after reading something very carefully, the hippocampus part of the brain has the opportunity to transfer information to store that memory in the cortex part. The brain does not get a chance to do this if you do not rest. This is called 'Memory Consolidation' in English.
Your brain does not like to work or read continuously. This most important part of our body is small in size but uses more energy than other parts. If you use it for a long time, the brain will not be able to hold on to itself. That is why the brain has to rest. So remember after reading something.

Divide study time into smaller sessions. Maybe twenty-five minutes like the Pomodoro technique or a maximum of ninety minutes. Now take a break. Take a light walk somewhere. Can take a nap. If you do other work, do something that does not put pressure on the brain. Give the brain the time it needs to sort out the information you read and transform it into lasting memories.
After reading something, we keep reading it again and again. Understand well once without memorizing the same line over and over again. When you finish reading a topic like this, try to remember it by closing the book. Read again once you understand how much you can remember. This time the topic will be assimilated a lot.
