My village is Bhalwal, situated in Sargodha District in the center of the Punjab, Pakistan. Bhalwal is an agricultural area, wheat, rice, and sugarcane are the common crops but Bhalwal is famous for citrus fruit specially for Kinnow and orange. Pakistan is the largest producer of Kinnow in the world.
As this is an agricultural area so many small and big canals are around my village. One canal runs through the center of village. This canal becomes a main activity point in summer. Many swimming competitions are held in this canal and also watermelon parties are arranged. On the bank of canal many farmers travel to reach their fields. I also used to do morning walk regularly when I lived in my village. Sharing some more pictures of my village.
