Hoy quiero hablarles de México, ¡uno de mis países favoritos!, en que tuve la oportunidad de visitar en varias ocasiones, bien sea por estudio, trabajo, vacaciones; y a pesar de haber perdido una gran cantidad de fotografías, quiero volver a remontar vuelo y mostrarles lo que más me ha gustado de un país hermoso, con personas amables y de gran corazón.

Today I want to tell you about Mexico, one of my favorite countries, which I had the opportunity to visit on several occasions, either for study, work, vacation, and despite having lost a lot of pictures, I want to fly back and show you what I liked most about a beautiful country, with kind and kind-hearted people.

CDMX - Ciudad de México

En Ciudad de México, me sentí como en casa; su estilo colonial resultó ser muy parecido a nuestro casco histórico de Caracas, por lo que me pude desenvolver confiada y libremente por la ciudad, los pocos días libres que tuve, pude dedicarme a pasear por los principales puntos claves que nuestros anfitriones nos recomendaban.

El viaje fue realizado en enero de 2019 y les confieso que esa semana, sentí la necesidad de quedarme a vivir en México, sin importar el hecho que debía empezar de nuevo, no se como explicarlo, pero era una sensación de pertenencia, como si mi ser ya estaba en casa, como si nunca me hubiese ido de allí.

The trip was made in January 2019 and I confess that that week, I felt the need to stay and live in Mexico, regardless of the fact that I had to start again, I do not know how to explain it, but it was a feeling of belonging, as if my being was already at home, as if I had never left there.

El Monumento a la Independencia - "La Victoria Alada" (CDMX - año 1910), ubicado en el Paseo La Reforma, es un homenaje a los héroes que dieron la libertad a una Nación, es visita obligada, en lo personal tiene un sentido muy especial para mi: creo en Dios, creo en lo ángeles y, el hecho de saber que un Ángel cuida y protege una Nación es una bendición grandísima. Por cierto, es uno de los sitios elegidos en diversos eventos sociales: quince años, bodas, graduaciones, entre otros, para tomarse fotos emblemáticas de la Ciudad.

The Independence Monument - "The Winged Victory" (CDMX - year 1910), located in Paseo La Reforma, is a tribute to the heroes who gave freedom to a Nation, it is a must visit, personally it has a very special meaning for me: I believe in God, I believe in angels and the fact of knowing that an Angel takes care and protects a Nation is a great blessing. By the way, it is one of the chosen sites in various social events: quince años, weddings, graduations, among others, to take emblematic photos of the City.

Gastronomía - Gastronomy

En México, se come delicioso, abundante, con una mezcla de sabores y técnicas de preparación de alimentos heredados por raíces prehispánicas, que cautivaron y permitieron que la UNESCO en el año 2010 declarara como Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la Humanidad: platillos como: "pozole", "enchiladas," "mole poblano", "cochinita pibil", "tacos al pastor", "huevos motuleños", entre muchos otros, nos hacen experimentar la felicidad en cada bocado.

Una cosa es describirlo y otra muy distinta vivirlo, así que te invito a que disfrutes un país lleno de contrastes, belleza, calidez humana y sabor.

In Mexico, food is delicious, abundant, with a mixture of flavors and food preparation techniques inherited from pre-Hispanic roots, which captivated and allowed UNESCO in 2010 to declare as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity: dishes such as: "pozole", "enchiladas," "mole poblano", "cochinita pibil", "tacos al pastor", "huevos motuleños", among many others, make us experience happiness in every bite.

It is one thing to describe it and quite another to live it, so I invite you to enjoy a country full of contrasts, beauty, human warmth and flavor.
