A Visit to Thrift Vintage Store

Good morning people, how are you?

It's been 10 days since I moved to Thessaloniki and the only thing I can say is that this city ROCKS.

It's got everything and I mean it! Kind-hearted people, beautiful momuments all over the city center, great skate spots and of course a HUGE market!

I am not that guy who is obsessed with shopping but I love to buy myself some gifts every now and then and especially from vintage stores like the one I visited yesterday called Thrift.

I love visiting Vintage stores guys and there are a lot of reasons behind this.

1st of all, everything is extremelly cheap. People who do not need their old clothes and stuff anymore can just donate them to a Vintage (second hand) store and the store sells them to consumers like me for like 1E/t-shirt, 4E/pair of pants, 2E/Hoodie and so on...

One more reason I choose stores like Thrift to buy my stuff is my belief that everything that still has some "life" in it mustn't be thrown away.

If you bought 10 pairs of new pants just give away your old pants for free to a store like Thrift instead of throwing them away. Some people with WAY less money than you might want to buy them or some people like me who LOVE wearing old-school cloths might want to give them life again.

I call this thing "human-to-human recycling" lol!

You can find pretty much everything at a Vintage store

A vintage store has all sorts of vintage items most of the times and you can get your hands on these items in super-awesome discounts, just like this keyboard bellow for only 45E

Or these old computers bellow for like 5-10E

There even was a self full of old music tapes which were sold for like 1E/5 tapes lol! I bet I could find some "gems" if I started looking in between them.

Here are some more vintage electic devices we found as we walked around the biggest second-hand store I have ever visited

Old-school telephone devices

This old oven's price was 10E. Sweet right?

@Illusivelf sure had some fun. She loves shopping (like most women) and she couldn't stop looking for cool stuff!

We didn't buy a lot of stuff 'cause we are still in a tight economic spot after moving to Thessaloniki. Moving needs money and we better pay for stuff we really need until we are comfortable to spend money on stuff we just like!

Nevertheless, our walk to Thrift Vintage Store was awesome and as I was informed by a friend, there are a ton more stores like this one in Thessaloniki so I'll definitely be paying a visit.
