Whenever I was alone I could not help but think of the good memories of my childhood, especially when I saw something that reminded me. Just like

Coconut palm fibers
My grandmother glued these palm fibers into the gown I wore, when I was choosen as miss star scout of our school. There was a district contest and I was representing our school, my talent was singing “twinkle twinkle little star”. When the contest day came, the emcee called me to go up stage to show my talent, I felt nervous, there were many spectators.
I could not sing, I cried and peed
I was a shy child then😩this is the embarrassing thing I did before.

Banana leaves
This is the shield we use to protect our head from getting wet. When the rain catched up us in the middle of our journey to home or school. We walk one and half kilometers everyday in going to school, we were groups of students walking the way to and from.

Isdang Turagsoy or Dalag
When my cousin and I, went to the paddy field to get snails, a kind of snail that can be cook and eaten. We went down into the mud, I felt something touched my foot and something was moving, in the mud, my cousin told me to catch it because it was a fish. I caught the fish, when I lifted it up, I suddenly released it , I thought it was a snake when I saw the head😂

Guava tree
This is my favorite fruit before, especially the small one, still green but soft to bite. I really enjoy eating, dipped in salt. I usually climbed the tree, next to grandma’s house. I does my homework up the tree.

Do you still remember yours?
This is granny
