A very one sided game as you can see by the score, where the most surprising event is that neither Mane or Salah scored. Now I do have a problem with the linesman, Mane was disallowed a goal for being offside, the lineman automatically flagged it, the thing is there is no way he could have seen this off side, I am not arguing it was not offside after reviewing it on tv you could see his foot was slightly ahead of the defender's but there was no way the lineman could have seen it, this was for VAR to disallow. And then on Liverpool's second goal TAA stopped the ball with his elbow and the same lineman said nothing, I mean these guys are inconsistent.
Anyway Liverpool won 4-0, two Diogo Jota goals, Thiago and Van Dijk. A relatively easy win which in fact could have been with more goals. Now let's see what Chelsea and ManCity do tomorrow, whatever the results Liverpool can still only aspire to second place.
As for me I just walked out to get a bite to eat, it is a dreary day, cold and drizzling and most businesses are closed because we have elections tomorrow. Of course the pool hall I visit is one of these closed places.
Things are getting hot, we had a shoot out yesterday about six blocks from my house, there were some twenty shots fired and amazingly one bullet landed on my roof top. Apparently one person was killed and two wounded but I haven't verified this. I don't know if this was election related but I do expect trouble tomorrow and for the following days, maybe weeks if the opposition doesn't win.
The ruling party has to go, they have been in power for twelve years and the country has gone backwards, it is time for a change.
