I have been reading about the uproar caused by Neil Young and Joni Mitchel and the Bruce Springsteen's guitarist Nils Lofgren (I had never heard of him, the other two of course they are very famous even today, but I would have a hard time naming one of their songs) pulling their music out of Spotify because of Joe Rogan's podcast whom they argue is a shill for antivaxxers and makes dangerous recommendations.
And this just goes to show how polarized the world has become, these artists can pull their music out of any place they want to, whoever is a follower of it will go where they go. And Joe Rogan can have his podcast any time he wants. He said he cured his COVID-19 bout with Ivermectin, which is OK, but can he prove it?
I got three vaccines, two Moderna and one Pfizer, nothing happened to me, in fact nothing has happened to anyone I know in this country from getting the vaccine, of course there could be cases of severe reactions to the vaccine here just that I haven't heard of them.
Now as for Ivermectin I do not know if it works or not, the one I really believe is a fake cure is Hydroxychloroquine. I have had three malaria bouts and have cured them with HCQ, and I can tell you the remedy was worse than the sickness, I have lived with side effects from it since 1980, it practically destroyed the walls of my stomach and my liver was seriously affected. I think it could kill someone with severe COVID easily. Apart from that, malaria is a parasite, COVID is a virus.
I wrote an article about me vaccinating and I remember someone here telling me I was dead already, I feel Ok, as Ok as a 60 year old man can feel and yes I am closer to death than younger people, I have some aches and I even have some preconditions, like elemental tremor and a lifelong shortness of breath, I am not going to risk getting COVID by not taking the vaccine. Ok, it might work or maybe not, but I would rather have it than not.
Also it is your choice to take it or not, but remember what happened to Djokovic, he lost being the man with the most grand slams for not vaccinating himself and anti vaxxers don't be fast to praise him, he is a man who believes in homeopathic remedies he is not against the vaccine, just that he wants to take a different road. My brother and sister have not been vaccinated, but now my brother has to get the vaccine because he is going to South America, where it is required. They also require yellow fever vaccine, I wonder why no one is against that?
So it is, as I said highly polarized, with people even saying COVID does not exist. Well a few friends of mine, younger than I, with no preconditions have died from what was prescribed as COVID, why should I question what their doctors said? I for one have no knowledge or experience to challenge them so I will take their word for it.
By the way it seems Joe Rogan and Spotify are caving, seems Spotify's market value has suffered badly because of this, who would have thought a few "has beens" could do this.
