Just wanted to share some pictures with you of my weekend trip visiting my friend in Guernsey. It is one of the Channel Islands in the English Channel, it is a self-governing British Crown dependency, but no part of the United Kingdom.
It is super easy to get there from London, a quick flight from Gatwick, or there's also a ferry from Poole if you'd like to take your bike/car there. The island has a population of 63.000 people and is only 62 square meter, but there's so much to do there (especially if you like outdoorsy activities).
I really enjoyed the Victor Hugo museum, he lived here during his excile. He personally decorated the house and wrote some of his greatest masterpieces here.
Many people of Guernsey go swimming every day, even during the winter, so we followed this tradition with my friends and did it at different bays.
We also went for some amazing walks on the South coast, sometimes it almost felt that I'm in the Mediterranean.
