The Gentle Whisper

It was gently whispering, so I opened it up to hear the words.

I spend a few moments of time with nature and experience joy in its simplest form. Flowers were an easy pick because they create so much joy and happiness. A rose is soft, smells sweet, and is a symbol of love, kindness, and friendship. Look around this world and develop your sense of appreciation for the joyful sights around you. Flowers in the woods, the laughter of children, the sound of the waves rolling in... and on and on... Here, take a flower or four.

The cycle of nature continues, with or without our attention, renewing my faith that all will be well again, someday. Breathe. Then breathe again. I feel that all may never be the same, but, given time and space to heal and strengthen, it will become better than ever.

More appreciated, more loved, and certainly never to be taken for granted again.

My day started with words offered from the heart: thank you. There is so much to be thankful for, despite the way of the world at the moment. I am living and breathing and being surrounded with love, so, I will say them over and over. And then say them again. I can feel the joy of this day—a light shining in a sometimes jaded world. It is such a small thing to be grateful for, it doesn't even cost a thing.
