You should travel if you want!
In 2020 - I took 5 trips. Where did I get covid??? The first time - AT HOME. The second time - IN MY PARENT'S HOME.
not from the airport, not from shopping, not from hotel rooms.
Your form of treatment sounds like TREATING THE WHOLE BODY. as it should be!
If people choose the vaccine (emphasis on the word choose) that should be their right. If people choose to avoid it (and by the way, I have ALL my other vaccinations - I do not voluntarily take any like - chicken pox, shingles, flu...etc) then they should have the RIGHT to deny it.
Forced vaccinations? What is this world. And why are the "people" championing for more restrictions more than the government is?
The county that I'm in - I'm convinced that the reason why our little county (in central cali) is not so restricted is simply because we won't allow it. There are enough people who constantly push back (as of right now) that it just can't be enforced more. We don't want the free donuts, or the free beers or the free burgers. We don't care about the vaccine lottery for people winning $1 million dollars (how is that even ethical/!?!?!?) if they are chosen on out of the pool of vaccinated...
We just want to have the choice. I have many friends who are vaccinated. I don't care. I have many who aren't. I don't care.
I just want to preserve my right to protect myself in the best way possible. If someone doesn't want to be around me because of that? that's also their choice.
but the IRONY is... I've had BOTH the original strain and delta. They are safer around ME than they are around the vaccinated (WHO STILL GET COVID) LOL
geeez. Up in northern Cali - nope.. I won't even go there anymore. It's not worth it to me. We literally took our last trip to San Fran and Muir Woods and I said - enjoy this guys! this is probably the last time we will come.
We were sitting at breakfast in this lovely little outdoor cafe. We spun a wheel for some celebration they were having and surprise! our entire$80 breakfast was free hahaha it was a beautiful sunny day - just AMAZING 4 day trip in beautiful San Fran.
we went home that night, and got an email a few days later - that cafe wouldn't allow people to come eat there unless they were vaccinated.
an outdoor cafe.
well- that's their choice too isn't it.
And our choice was, ok - we can respect your views. Bye for now.
anyway -that's my rant. LOL this Thanksgiving I'm thankful for being RIGHT where I am. and I will pray that it remains this way HERE until the crazy ends.
oh wait!! check this out!!! I just saw this THIS MORNING. I usually stay away from covid media (on both sides) because I just... ugh... its too much
But something compelled me to watch this today.
(i hope the link is still up!)
Thx for the video. I've seen snippets of the press conference and this was the first time I watched the whole thing. And thanks for sharing your thoughts. It's nice to not be alone in thinking that forced vaccinations ought to give people pause. I've had people tell me that I can "choose" to not have the jab but that it's requirement is imminent and that I SHOULD take it now while it feels like a choice before I'm forced to take it.
I can't see myself enthusiastic about the jab ever. I've never been a fan of flu shots and aspirin and I don't believe that we're living through a real plague. I know a lot of people and everyone that has passed away these past couple of years have been due to cancer or other illnesses that have been challenging their lives for years. And now from the news I'm seeing on adverse reactions to the jab, I'm more concerned for the health of my jabbed loved ones than worrying about myself dying over covid.
I'm glad there are states enjoying freedom and sanity from the covid fear-mongering. I'm glad there are pockets of places in California not bowing to the overreach and are pushing back. I'm hopeful that truth will prevail. It would be nice if it would come through before Christmas.
Happy holidays,
JNET
I read what you said here several times... and first time i laughed bitterly - and second time it just made me sad.
"it's requirement is imminent and that I SHOULD take it now while it feels like a choice before I'm forced to take it."
do they not see the irony? you should take it now WHILE IT FEELS LIKE A CHOICE. lol so they acknowledge that it only feels like a choice- and that they are prematurely surrendering to something they know is dictatorship.
hm.
I saw something so unbelievably disturbing today - that I'm really wondering what this Christmas is going to be like. I don't want to worry before I have anything to worry about. (but I find myself worrying anyway)
I try not to watch the news, but I have friends in South Africa and heard about the new variant. They don't have any real news about this variant, but they're already going to the extreme of banning travel from 8 countries. They admit that it's not going to stop anything, and that there is a good chance that the Omicron variant is already here. but they're going to try to "slow" it.
Because that worked so well for the last 2 years.
sigh. and bigger sigh.
